About the event

Audio Video Club is honored to host a special community screening of Withdrawal as part of the film’s rare week-long theatrical run at the historic Plaza Theatre.


At AVC, we believe independent films deserve to be seen on the big screen and held in the community. Week-long theatrical runs for micro-budget films without celebrity attachments or marketing budgets are incredibly rare. When they happen, it is because audiences show up and support the work. This screening is an invitation to do exactly that.


Shot entirely in Georgia with a Georgia-based cast and crew, Withdrawal premiered to a sold-out audience at the Atlanta Film Festival and went on to screen internationally, winning multiple awards, including Best Feature, Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Cinematography.
